The Details

Easter Seals UCP Stepping Stones Children’s Center held fundraisers beginning in July 2008 to make much needed playground improvements to allow ALL of the children enrolled in their center to enjoy the outdoor environment without barriers. The total cost for this project was a staggering $47,000! Thanks to the support of our agency, we were able to purchase and install ALL of the desired playground shade structures, safety surfacing, and playground equipment. However, we still have not met our fundraising goal and would like to continue to improve the playground by replacing our 14 year-old fence and storage shed. Several people have written and called about silent auction and raffle prizes from Saturday’s carnival. We are in the process of organizing all of the information and will have the winners posted on this website shortly.

Congratulations on a great event!!!! You all did an outstanding job of organizing it and providing a great time for the kids — all while making the much needed funds for your playground!!!! Good Job!!!! I hope you met your goal.
